But you will unlikely acquire the same cold infection that you had before since you have established resistance to that virus. HPV is similar since human papilloma virus is simply one more infection. Therefore you will simply create resistance to HPV. However, HPV is much better at hiding from your immunity than are the runny nose viruses. Therefore you should work a little harder to obtain resistance to HPV.
