About: Store shrimp, squid, and also shucked shellfish in a leak-proof bag or container. Squid and newly shucked clams have a service life of one to 2 days. Shrimp and scallops have a shelf life of about a couple of days. As well as freshly shucked oysters have a life span of five to 7 days. The storage life of seafood depends upon how well you look after it, whether a whole fish or a real-time oyster.
